Displays around St Mark’s!
Our children and staff are very creative, and are working really hard. Here are some photos of the displays around our school.
Thank you and Project Outcome Event
Thank you all for coming to our Christmas Nativity ‘Hey Ewe’. We hope you enjoyed it as much as we did. We are so proud of all of your children. They worked extremely hard with their singing, playing and performing and behaved wonderfully. We hope it has put you all in the festive spirit.
We would also like to remind you that we have our project outcome for our ‘Fantastic Explorers’ Topic this week on Tuesday 17th December. This will be held in your child’s classroom as a 10 minute drop in session between 8.30am-9am. The children would like to share with you some of the art work that they have completed and carry out a short quiz based on their explorers topic to show you what they have learnt. We appreciate that time is precious at the moment, and that many of you have already taken time out of work to come and see one of our performances, so we have deliberately kept this as a low key event. Whilst it would be lovely to see you, we will completely understand if you are unable to make it and you can rest assured that the art work that we share will eventually come home for you to enjoy.
We would also like to take this opportunity to wish you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. We hope you all enjoy the holidays and your celebrations. We thank you and your children for the super term that we have had and look forward to welcoming them back for further exciting topics in 2020!

Choir Events Before Christmas
Dear Parents and Carers,
Many thanks for your offers to take children to our concert in Church Cottage tomorrow. Please meet at school at 10am to make your way to the venue next to St Michael’s Church in the town centre. Detailed letters were sent out in named envelopes to the individuals involved so I hope the letters all made their way safely home last week. The children will wear full school uniform for singing to the elderly. They are welcome to wear a Christmas hat. Children will be finished by 11:30am for their return trips to school.
For our school carol services on December 12, 13, 16 and 17, children will be wearing their choir shirts and ties please. We will provide the ties in school before each concert.
Next Tuesday, we have our final evening performance of our carol service. In our choir session today, the children were told that there is no need for them to attend the after school club choir session next week (17.12.19). It is best they go home and rest before the concert. If children really want to come, please let me know as I am always happy to sing together.
Kind regards,
Mrs Chapman
