Fun filled end of term in Year R
The children have had a busy and fun-filled week to round off the term! They have enjoyed making their Christmas cards and calendars for you and completing a range of Christmas craft activities throughout the week.
A highlight was seeing the children enjoying their Christmas lunch and party yesterday. They had so much fun dancing away and playing party games together!
Amongst all the pictures, cards and gifts they have brought home yesterday, there was a note from us about our first week back. In case it hasn’t arrived home with you or has been lost, there is a copy of the note underneath this message.
We wish you all a very happy Christmas and look forward to welcoming the children back on Tuesday 7th January.

Dear Parents / Carers
During the first week of the Spring Term it is our RE topic ‘Jesus as a storyteller’. As part of our learning we would like the children to bring in a story book which is special to them. This could be a story they’ve had since they were a baby, a story that was a gift or a story that you share at home regularly.
These need to be brought in on the first day back to school as we are using them that day. (Tuesday 7th January 2020)
Please can children bring their book wrapped up in wrapping paper so they can unwrap it in school to share with a friend.
Thank you for your continued support.
