Welcome to Year 2!

Wow – what a great start to the new term! We have been so impressed with how the children have settled back into school-life and their positive attitude towards all their learning. As part of our new project, ‘Beauty on my Doorstep’, the children have been learning about our local area and finding out about physical and human features in and around our school. They have also been enjoying being scientists through investigating different materials and how they can be changed.

As part of our English learning, the children have loved writing about ‘The Three Little Wolves and the Big Bad Pig’ and we are looking forward to writing our own versions in the coming week.

We look forward to seeing many of you at our Key Information Session on Thursday 21st September to hear more about what your child will be learning in Year 2.
