Year 3 – Wednesday 8th April

Good Morning Year 3

Hello Year 3!

Did you know daffodils are my favourite flowers; they make me feel all sunny inside! I wonder what things make you feel sunny inside?
It has been such lovely weather the last few days, I think the sunshine makes us all feel better even when we have to stay at home. I can hear the birds singing from my window in my house and it is lovely to hear them say ‘good morning’ everyday.

I have been busy this week cooking for my family – yesterday I tried to make bread rolls! They took a lot longer to make than I thought they would but tasted yummy! I wonder what things you could cook or make at home? My son is going to make himself a pizza – it is one of his favourite meals!

I’ve made you a little picture quiz to have a go at with your family. Each page has a close-up picture of something and you have to try and guess what it is. You could play it as a family and see who gets the most right. I am going to get my children to do it tomorrow, so I’ll let you know how they got on!
Have a lovely week, remember to keep smiling, listening to your adults and being the super and amazing children we know you are!
