Rotten Romans

Last week, the children had a fabulous day where we learnt so much from our real Roman visitor. The children made us so proud, with their knowledge so far and their behaviour was outstanding. In the morning, they learnt about the lead up to the invasion of Britannia. They then got to handle some artefacts – even the toilet sponge stick ergh! We learnt some Roman games called Delta and Ludas and then we has a quiz to complete. In the afternoon, we all came together and had a weapons and armour talk, Drill (Roman’s marching), Bouidicca’s revolt and then finished with a Gladiator Tournament.

We had such a super day!
