7th Feb – Snow and ice this week

Dear parents and carers,

Snow and ice is predicted for this week. As always, school will be open unless you hear otherwise.

For the children in school:

• Please do wear appropriate footwear, which may include boots/trainers etc, with something more comfortable for the classroom.
• Wrap up warm! We have to keep windows open at times for ventilation.
• Please be careful – we will grit the paths, but will struggle to clear paths of snow/ice if the snow is very heavy.
• Please stay off the snow and icy areas – it is deifnitely ice, not snow, so is dangerous!
