Year 5 – Thursday 16th April
Good Morning Year 5
I hope you are all well. Even though it’s the Easter holidays, I’m still keeping to a routine. As many of you know, I love to exercise and keep fit (especially after overindulging in too many chocolate eggs!) so I have been waking up every day and completing a workout. Today was body combat, but I also love kettlebells, body weight circuits and body attack. What have you all been doing to keep fit? I’m really missing playing netball and seeing my netball team, so today I think I will use my netball hoop in my garden to practice shooting. I wonder how many goals I can score in a minute? Hmmmm…email in your guesses and I’ll time myself! I wonder who will be the closest?! Are you sill practicing your favourite sport or hobby?
I had a go at another Easter activity – creating and writing a postcard. During my daily exercise over Easter, I cycled to my extended family and hand delivered Easter cards. My family love to receive letters and cards so I know they’ll really appreciate a postcard keeping in touch. How have you managed to keep in touch with your family and friends? Zoom? Email? Calling? letters? It’s very exciting to receive a letter or card from family and friends.
Enjoy the sunshine and fresh air in your garden or during your daily exercise. Missing you all.
