Hello Year 6!

Springtime - lambs and daffodils | Cute animals, Animals, Animals ...

We hope you had a wonderful long Easter weekend with your family and have woken up feeling well and bounding with energy for a great day! You may well have enjoyed lots of chocolate over the last couple of days – Yum! If you are bursting with energy in its physical and creative forms, why not try some of today’s activities?

Have a great day.

Fun Daily Activities

Now for those of you who woke up with lots of energy, make sure you get your daily physical exercise in. What will you do today? A walk? A bike ride? An exercise class from the internet? Maybe, you could take the place of Joe Wicks today and lead a family PE session. Make sure you give them lots to do to wear them out. Remember, it’s important to exercise to stay healthy.

Spring time English

Something unusual has happened in the Aquadrome, Basingstoke. Since it has been closed to humans, the giraffes have moved in. Watch this short video on the link below and then write a newspaper article for the Basingstoke Gazette. Remember to give it a catchy headline.

Share your work!

blankWe’d love to share a piece of artwork your child has done. It can be of anything – a rainbow for the NHS, a piece of home learning, a poster, a drawing, a painting, a design, anything! Just make sure you only send in a photo of the work, not the child or anything on the photo that may identify them (e.g. full name). Simply email it to posters@stmarksce.org.uk and we’ll do the rest! We’ll make a video montage of it, and share it on our website. We would love to have as many entries as possible. Closing date is Sunday 19th April!
