Year 5 – Easter – Week 2

Good Morning Year 5

Good Morning Year 5!

We hope that you have all had an excellent Easter weekend and have enjoyed your first week of the Easter break. Mrs Poole and Miss Fowler really enjoyed joining in with the activities that we suggested and receiving emails from the children who completed some too!

We have thought of some more activities which could entertain you whilst you are spending lots of time indoors. As before, below are a list of the activities which may bring you some joy in these difficult times. Remember these are optional, just ideas that you could do if you want to!

If you have a great activity idea that you would like to share with other Year 5 children, just send us the details in an email to year5@stmarksce.org.uk and we will try to add it to our webpage. We would also love to see what you get up to, so please get in touch and share with us.

We know that at the moment it is sometimes tricky to stay positive, but remember we know how incredible you all are and how great you have been with all of these changes so far. Just keep smiling!

Year 5 Team

Remember, we are still holding a photo competition over the Easter Holidays!!

We would like you to take an Easter Photo. This could be something that represents Easter, or something that links to Easter in some way. Once you have taken your photo, send it into year5@stmarksce.org.uk. There will be a prize for the winner when we get back to school, and the top three photos will be posted on the year 5 webpost on the first Monday back after the Easter Holidays. We can’t wait to see them.

Share your work!

We’d love to share a piece of artwork your child has done. It can be of anything – a rainbow for the NHS, a piece of home learning, a poster, a drawing, a painting, a design, anything! Just make sure you only send in a photo of the work, not the child or anything on the photo that may identify them (e.g. full name). Simply email it to posters@stmarksce.org.uk and we’ll do the rest! We’ll make a video montage of it, and share it on our website. We would love to have as many entries as possible. Closing date is Sunday 19th April!
