Please complete Week 1, Lesson 5 – Tenths as Decimals – This lesson builds on your knowledge of tenths from yesterday.  You will look at another way to represent tenths – decimals!  This is the first time you will have come across this concept so please watch the clip carefully and play it back as many times as you need.

You can find the video and resources for today’s lesson here https://whiterosemaths.com/homelearning/year-3/  Don’t forget to click on  Week 1, Lesson 5 –tenths as decimals – Watch the clip and follow the instructions.  You will need a pen or pencil and paper to hand.

RE

As we get closer to Easter, in school we would normally be learning about the Christian view of Easter. This activity aims to help you and your child to explore some of main aspects of the festival of Easter and some of the key themes and traditions involved. You may find this BBC bitesize link really handy for this task.

Art

Now we have finished our Hodgeheg book – today’s art is linked to drawing your own hedgehog. Why don’t you make it into a card? Maybe for someone in the NHS, the dusbin collectors, a shop worker or maybe a delivery person. Send us your finished pictures.
